Gear Lists

Gear Lists are the core of MakerManifest. Each list is a curated collection of products you use, recommend, or want to share with your audience. You control every aspect of each list: the title, description, cover image, category, and the items within it.

Lists can be kept as a private draft while you're building them, then published with a single toggle when you're ready to share. Once published, your list is live at a public URL and gets its own short link for easy sharing.

Free accounts can create up to 10 gear lists with up to 25 items each, or up to 25 lists in the "Just lists" experience, which trades the affiliate side of the product for a higher list count. Basic accounts can create up to 50 lists with unlimited items. Premium accounts have no limits on lists or items.

If you are on the Free plan in "Just lists" with more than 10 lists and you switch back to Creator, the newest lists over 10 are unpublished — their public pages and short links stop working until you upgrade or switch back. Nothing is deleted, and you are warned and shown exactly which lists before anything changes.

You can add a YouTube video URL to any gear list, which displays as an embedded video at the top of the public list page — perfect for linking the build video or review that accompanies your gear recommendations.
